Social worker's son/gunman killed |

| Three youths with automatic weapons came to the house of Malkiat Singh, a well known social worker and BSP nominee for Vidhan Sabha seat from Halka Raikot district Ludhiana, on August 03, 1991, at about 7:15 AM at village Boparai district Ludhiana, with the intension to kill him as the militants were against holding the elections. Mr Malkiat Singh was not at home. His son Gurpreet Singh @ Mintoo and gunman Vinay Sood were shot dead on the spot. |  Vinay Sood  |
