Naresh Kumar, the president of Hindu Shiv Sena of Phiilaur Zone, district Jalandhar was known for his stand against terrorism. He used to raise his voice against terrorist acts. Despite warnings from terrorist outfits, he maintained his stand. The terrorists who were not happy with him decided to kill him. On April 4, 1989, when Kumar was sitting in his clinic and examining the patients, terrorists suddenly entered and started firing on him, killing him on the spot.
