Sardar Balwant Singh Sarhal who was elected as MLA in 1985, on Shiromani Akali Dal ticket from Banga. Ex -MLA was on terrorist's trigger as he could not toe the line of terrorists. He was killed on April 26,1992, with deadly weapon while returning from village Cheema Kalan after attending a function.
