This is a case in which terrorists came posing as cops and killed the innocent people. On January 8, 1992, eight persons in Police uniform came to a textile mill at Kharar. The workers were busy in their day-to-day activities. The terrorists, posing as policemen, asked the mill workers to gather at a particular place. They pretended to discuss with them certain issues related to the elections. Over 20 workers obliged. They could not sense that the guns carried by these cops-looking men were not to protect them, but to kill them. When they all gathered at one place, the terrorists started firing on them. Five innocent workers were killed on the spot and many others got injured. Unlike in most other cases, the terrorist leader in this shoot out was an aged person, in his late forties.		Dead Body
