It was a normal summer evening of July 3, 1992. The main bazar at Bassian of district Jagraon was busy as usual. Buyers were strolling in the bazar, as a few shop keepers were playing cards in front of a shop. They didn't realise that their death was standing behind them. It was 6.30 PM. Three terrorists who had come on a scooter, approached these shopkeepers and started firing on them with sophisticated guns. People started running to save their lives.
