It was a case of a cold-blooled murder at Field Ganj, Ludhiana when 19 innocent people fell prey to the bullets of wild terrorists. On March 18, 1992, the area was humming with usual activity when three terrorists armed with automatic rifles came on foot. They, without any provocation started firing on the innocent people. Ninteen people died. This was the begining of a series of shoot-outs and blasts between March and August, 1992 within a radius of 60 KM from Ludhiana.
