March 24, 1993 was the doomsday for seven innocent souls of Jagraon, a town situated near Ludhiana City. At around 8.30 P.M., three terrorists armed with sophisticated weapons entered the house of one Vinod Kumar, Killed him. God knows, why.The assailants didn't spare even his relatives who were present in the house at that time.One of the nephews of Vinod Kumar was killed, another nephew and a sister-in-law got seriously injured in the shoot-out. But that did not quench the draconian thirst of the killers. To make good their escape, their guns indiscriminately took the lives of seven more passers-by who came in their way, in the busy street No. 2 of Jagraon's Shastri Nagar.
