Two bomb blasts on the same day, i.e June 4, 1990, rocked Sheranwala Gate and Arya Samaj Chowk (road crossing) area of Patiala town of Punjab. The devastating blasts took lives of three children and two men while 30 persons in the close proximity got badly injured. 1990 was a bloody year for Punjab when nearly 2,500 innocent public men, women and children were killed by terrorists.
