One Sher Singh was present at Bharat Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana, when suddenly he heard a loud explosion. He went towards the direction of the explosion, that was, towards the Nirankari Bhawan. What he saw here was a spine-chilling scene. A bomb blast had taken place. The bomb was planted in a parked car by the terrorists. Thirteen people were reduced to pieces instantly, and 19 others got injured in the blast. Bharat Nagar Chowk Ludhiana, a hub of business area with heavy rush at all hours looked like a ghost area for a very long time there after.
